Noise Barriers

Noise barriers are often used alongside highways and railway lines and generally comprise of either sound absorbing, sound reflecting, or a combination of both these types of panels. SONOTEC can provide either type and will therefore only propose what is best for you - not just what we can supply.

Sound Absorbing Panels

Such panels can provide either single or double side absorption. Normally made of aluminium they are generally lightweight and easy to install. Perforation patterns and panel infill material properties can be varied to suit requirements therefore ensuring a cost effective solution to your needs.

Sound Reflecting Panels

Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) Acrylic sheet provides excellent light transparency and noise reduction in terms of sound transmission loss through the sheet whilst of course maintaining vision through the panels.
